Warriors reportedly choose a new All-Star teammate for Stephen Curry.

The Golden State Warriors have spent the summer looking for a new All-Star partner to play with Stephen Curry.

The veteran sharpshooter lost his longtime "splash brother" when Klay Thompson chose to leave the franchise and join Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving on the Dallas Mavericks.

Unfortunately for the Warriors' front management, they missed out on both of their All-Star targets this offseason.

First, the Los Angeles Clippers rejected a sign-and-trade agreement with Paul George, losing him to the Philadelphia 76ers instead.

The Warriors then failed to sign Lauri Markkanen from the Utah Jazz, who signed a contract deal to remain in Salt Lake City.

According to The Athletic's Sam Amick, who spoke on a recent episode of "The TK Show," the Warriors have shifted their focus to Jimmy Butler.

The Miami Heat star has two years remaining on his present $146 million contract.

However, the last year is a player option, which allows him to enter the free agent market next summer.
