Following the revelation of body camera footage showing police holding Tyreek Hill, this story was updated.
Tyreek Hill, a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, said he doesn't understand why, in a bizarre sequence leading up to Sunday's season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars, police officers forced him out of his car and held him.
He couldn't help but wonder, "What if I wasn't Tyreek Hill?" after that sequence. "To be honest, I have no idea. Have no idea. I have no idea, dude. It's absurd. When questioned on Sunday about why he was handcuffed, Hill responded, "No idea."
I didn't grow up with disrespect because that's not how my mother raised me. didn't swear. Never did any of that. I'm still attempting to figure it out, man, like I mentioned before.Shortly after being arrested, Hill was freed and contributed to the Dolphins' 20-17 victory.

he was handcuffed and taken into custody by police outside Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
In body-camera footage made public by the police on Monday night, Hill was seen being forcibly removed from his car by officers.
