A 10-year deal worth $95 million was offered to the coach in 2021 in order to keep him in East Lansing after the Spartans achieved a record of 11-2 under his leadership.
Because of an inquiry into sexual harassment claims that were made against Tucker, he was terminated for reason, which will likely result in him losing out on over $80 million in compensation.
