During Team USA's gold medal campaign in the 2024 Paris Olympics, NBA players LeBron James and Stephen Curry have developed a strong bond.
Their pick-and-roll connection in Paris was so outstanding that NBA talking heads speculated about them teaming together before their illustrious careers came to end.
But before this tremendous synergy between them was "real tension" going back to James still at Cleveland and defining the NBA throughout the last decade.
James's team was not happy when the story developed during the Golden State Warriors' legendary run that Curry had emerged as the top player, replacing James.
"It was really surreal for me to see he (Curry) and LeBron specifically just enjoy each other as much as they did (in the Olympics),"
Amick said on the most recent episode of "The TK Show" podcast.
"We were at all those Finals where — I don't care what LeBron says now — it's not a matter of them having animosity towards one another, but they were rivals."
"Their camps did not always embrace the manner the other player was discussed.
