Former NBA champion and analyst Kendrick Perkins has joined ESPN's WNBA Today broadcast.
During the show, Perkins was asked about Caitlin Clark and her impressive rookie season thus far.
The former Celtics centre not only lauded the Fever rookie, but also compared Clark to LeBron James.
Clark struggled at first in the league. Opposing players' extreme aggressiveness was interpreted as the league sending her a message.
However, CC has now gotten into the rhythm, and during the Olympic break, she has taken things to a whole new level.
Perkins mentioned how comfortable she's become. Clark has a few extra responsibilities as her team's point guard.
But, according to Perk, she has been working hard, and the results are already visible.
The player-turned-analyst also mentioned a few additional considerations. One of them is her exceptional performance, which has broken records, and her ability to lead her club to the playoffs while just in her first year.
