Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been one of the league's most powerful players for four seasons,
but he appears to have made an adjustment to his game that he believes would elevate him.
Joe Burrow said in a news conference this week that he has worked on his mobility for years but hasn't been able to show it in a game.
“I’m more well equipped to go outside the pocket and make those kinds of plays because I’ve been working really hard on that the last two years,”
Burrow told the Cincinnati Bengals website. The last couple games I played last year were when I got to exhibit some of that.
I didn't get to show that early on.
That was my main focus last offseason and this one. I've chosen to show that side of my game."
Burrow missed much of last season with a wrist ailment and a calf problem before that.
He starts the season healthy this year.
