Is new Saints offence real? It depends on Derek Carr, says Tom Brady.

The New Orleans Saints offense entered the 2024 season with questions, particularly about QB Derek Carr.

They have answered these questions with strong performances: a 47-10 win over the Panthers and a 44-19 victory over the Cowboys.

In Week 2, the Saints recorded 432 yards of offense, impressing even Tom Brady.

Brady praised new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak for his effective playcalling and varied offensive schemes.

Kubiak’s playcalling included mixed personnel, formations, and challenging motions that led to big plays.

Brady noted Derek Carr made impressive throws, hitting receivers in stride, which elevated the offense.

– Brady highlighted the difficulty for defenses facing the Saints’ diverse offensive plays, including bootlegs and high-percentage passes.

He remarked on the challenge for Cowboys’ defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer, as the Saints’ varied offense made it hard to focus on any single defensive strategy.
