First-time HOF nominees for 2025 include Eli Manning. 

First-Time Nominees: Eli Manning, Luke Kuechly, Terrell Suggs, and Adam Vinatieri are among the first-time nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2025. 

Modern Era Candidates: The Hall announced 167 modern era candidates, including 16 first-time nominees like Marshal Yanda.

Selection Process: A screening committee will reduce nominees to 50 next month, then to 25 semifinalists, and finally to 15 finalists. Players need 80% of votes for induction.

Hall of Fame Bylaws: Between three and five modern era candidates can be inducted. There will also be three senior candidates, plus one coach and contributor.

Other First-Time Nominees: Includes offensive linemen Travis Frederick, Ryan Kalil, Joe Staley, running backs Marshawn Lynch, Darren Sproles, receiver Demaryius Thomas, tight ends Vernon Davis, Delanie Walker, and defensive backs Antoine Bethea, Aqib Talib, Earl Thomas.

Returning Finalists: Tight end Antonio Gates, receivers Torry Holt, Reggie Wayne, offensive linemen Willie Anderson, Jahri Evans, defensive backs Darren Woodson, Eric Allen, Rodney Harrison, defensive lineman Jared Allen, and running back Fred Taylor.

Eli Manning’s Career: Manning, a two-time Super Bowl MVP, spent his entire career with the New York Giants, leading them to two Super Bowl victories over the Patriots.

Eligibility and Inductions: Manning aims to join his brother Peyton in the Hall. Among QBs with multiple Super Bowls, only Jim Plunkett isn’t inducted yet; recent players like Brady, Roethlisberger, and Mahomes aren’t eligible yet.
