Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes lost 10–28 against the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Lincoln's Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
The Buffaloes won 31-26 over North Dakota State in Week 1 to open the season 1-1.
Coach Prime and his Colorado program are already facing national media pressure after a rough start.
DenverSports.com college football expert Jake Shapiro wrote "Deion Sanders' style had nothing for Matt Rhule's substance.
He said in the report that Sanders told the Colorado band not to play the fight song after his son Shedeur scored a touchdown.
An official from Colorado has addressed this claim against Sanders.
"Not so. No one requested the band to stop playing the battle song. After a touchdown, the band plays 'Glory, Glory, Colorado' and 'Fight CU,' as it has for years.
Immediately after Shedeur Sanders scores, the band plays 'Glory, Glory, Colorado.' The game against North Dakota State was just like this.
Shedeur isn't the only band to perform Alejandro Mata's song after a field goal before singing 'Fight CU.'"
