While the Women's USA team is in Paris competing for a gold medal at the Olympics, Caitlin Clark is still in the United States, enjoying a long break.
The Indiana Fever star recently went viral after being seen giving a generous donation to Des Moines students in need.
According to Keith Murphy of WHO 13 News, Clark donated 350 Nike backpacks complete with school supplies to Des Moines-area children through the Caitlin Clark Foundation.
Some of the kids took photographs with the Fever star, and everyone smiled as they accepted the donation.
The video attracted a lot of attention on social media and immediately went viral. In two hours on X, formerly known as Twitter,
the video had over 140,000 views, 4,000 likes, and 500 re-posts. Clark is once again causing a stir online, but this time for a good reason.
Not only is she a celebrity on the court, but she is also proven to be a woman of the people. Giving back to the town in which she grew up is an excellent strategy to assist her most loyal followers.
Clark's donation also elicited a lot of positive feedback. Many of her followers enjoyed watching the Fever star give back to the community.
