Caitlin Clark breaks the WNBA single-season assist record.

The rookie sensation and Indiana Fever guard now has the league's single-season assist record, surpassing Alyssa Thomas of the Connecticut Sun.

Clark shattered the record during Friday night's game against the Las Vegas Aces.

She did it in front of a hometown crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

In 2023, Thomas set the league single-season record for assists with 316. Clark, who had 312 assists before Friday's game, needed only five to break the record.

The Fever still have two games remaining on their schedule.

It's another feather in Clark's crown, as she has exceeded exceedingly high expectations in her debut season with the WNBA.

Despite a rocky start to the season, she has appeared to be an entirely different player since the league's Olympic break.

Clark came into Friday night's game averaging 19.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and a league-high 8.4 assists.
