The Indiana Fever are one win away from reaching 20 on the season for the first time since 2015, after defeating the Atlanta Dream 104-100 in overtime on Sunday.
Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston, Indiana's No. 1 overall picks, have been leading the charge for one of the league's hottest teams, and their victory over the Dream was no exception.
Both players scored a double-double in the win. Clark ended with 26 points and 12 assists.
The Fever took to social media on Monday to praise the All-Star duo's performance, revealing a new nickname for the two.
The Fever wrote, "Double-double duo," on X. "Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston were dominant in last night's OT thriller."
Clark and Boston were both double-double machines throughout the 2024 season, so the new nickname fits them perfectly.
Clark has 12 double-doubles and 2 triple-doubles this season, while Boston has 13 double-doubles
The two stars, along with guard Kelsey Mitchell, have led the Fever to one of the best records in the league following the Olympic break, winning eight of their ten games during that timeframe.
