Manchester City midfielder Rodri recently revealed an unusual story about a meeting he had with former Barcelona star Sergio Busquets before deciding to join Pep Guardiola in England.
Rodri, largely recognized as one of the best midfielders in football today, is also a serious contender for the Ballon d'Or.

One particularly notable event was his transfer from Atletico Madrid to Manchester City in 2019.
As part of his preparation for the transition, he sought guidance from Sergio Busquets, a player who knew Guardiola inside and out.
"When I had the chance to move to City that summer, it felt like a dream come true," Rodri told me.
