Angel Reese's debut year ended abruptly after a season of great plays and controversy.
The Chicago Sky forward announced on social media that she will not participate in the postseason push in the final stretch.
Reese announced the unexpected news on Instagram.
“What a year. I never thought my last bucket of my rookie season would be a 3,
but maybe God was telling them to expect better in Year 2 lol, Reese remarked.
“I'm emotional about my season-ending injury, but also grateful for what's next.
I can now take a physical and mental break, but it's God's timing. “God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers.”
