Before Media Day, the 76ers have little time to deal James Harden. Bleacher Report's Andy Bailey suggested a Sixers-Chicago
Bulls trade for another scorer to get a solid return for him while they can.Bailey then discussed why the Sixers might suit LaVine.
“LaVine's shortcomings were magnified for the mediocre Bulls, but he would be a better second (or third, given Maxey's development) option alongside Embiid.
Over the past four seasons, he's averaged 25.5 points and 55.8 FG%.
The attention Embiid commands inside might boost LaVine's efficiency in Philly, Bailey said.
LaVine is in the second year of a five-year, $215 million Bulls contract.
LaVine has made two NBA all-star teams and can score and make plays, but he has little playoff experience.
Getting to play for the Sixers could change that. He gives the Sixers a scorer who fits Embiid's timeframe better than Harden.
